  1. I take issue with labeling of some rackets as "beginner" rackets. I am an intermediate player in my 60's with some chronic shoulder issues after competitive play over a 50 year span. I decided to go with the Yonex Astrel 105 and could not be happier with its performance and lower stress to my shoulder on serves. Over the years, I have played with top level rackets for the time period and I have to say the Astrel is one of the best feeling rackets with strong performance that I have played with. The unfortunate labeling of this as a "beginner" racket is likely to turn off more experienced players who might actually find, like I have, that this is a solid player's racket.

  2. If you are trying to learn the game, then actually best to use the heavier headlight racquets. At first it is harder, but thats how you learn and avoid bad practices.

  3. loving the Yonex love!
switched over to a Vcore Pro 97 about 6 months ago and couldn't hit with it until courts opened up due to COVID-19.
could not be happier with this racquet. you really do feel that flexibility in a good way.

  4. Just to brag: managed to find a new DR98 with the right grip size too!
Coming tomorrow. Own 6 of them now.
Maybe I will keep this one stock, the 5 modified and brought to the same spec I already have are a bit overpowered for what I have to play sometimes.

  5. I saw in the video that the Vcore pro has a thinner beam compared to the normal Vcore, but what other differences are there? I personally own the Vcore pro and would like to know what differences the normal Vcore has
