  1. Alright mine does a really weird thing and I have no idea how to fix it as so far after talking to el gato, looking at their support base, and checking out videos like this and forum posts nobody has the same problem as me. What happens is that it lags on my tv. NOT my computer, I realize there is lag in the software on your computer, on my tv though it lags, like 2 or so seconds behind which just throws me off terribly. I've double checked everything… Any suggestions?

  2. If your screen says 720p, then your Wii's signal (which can only be 576i, 480i or 480p – the Wii doesn't have the hardware to go higher than this properly) is being stretched. Your gameplay will be the same size as 720p (1280×720 pixels), however it is essentially still a 480p/480i/576i signal. Your "HDMI converter" is doing what can be easily done in most movie-editing softwares.

  3. Like has been said, the Wii doesn't put out 720p. If a Wii video is in 720p, it has been stretched – there is no product in existence that can make the Wii put out in full, proper HD.

  4. I'm having trouble connecting the Wii to the Elgato HD Game Capture. It keeps on flipping between a messed up image of the Wii home menu and saying there's no input.
